We offer an approved program that will prepare in Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) the skills described in the Louisiana
State Board of Nursing's declatory statement. This statement details the knowledge and skills necessary for a Registered Nurse
to delegate IV duties to a LPN.
The 30 hour program is scheduled for 24 hours of classroom and/or clinical setting and 6 hours of mandatory
home study projects. Upon successful completion the participant will be awarded with a certificate of completion. DURING
THE PROGRAM YOU MAY BE ASKED TO ALLOW ANOTHER PARTICIPANT TO PERFORM AN IV START ON YOU UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE
PRESENTER.
